Renaissance

As an accompaniment to the poem (in old French) « Sonnet » (it's actually not exactly a sonnett) :

Loe Heere another Love, for 2 Renaissance violins.

The Renaissance violin doesn't possess yet that small piece of wood called "sound post", and the bridge is placed much more toward the back of the instrument, so the strings are longer of more than an inch.
